Digital Creators are Monetizing
NFTs: What Are They and Why Should We Pay Attention to Them?
You’ve probably seen this acronym floating around a lot lately. NFTs are “non-fungible tokens” – digital assets with individual characteristics that make each one unique. The metadata inside each NFT is unalterable and acts as a “certificate of authenticity,” making NFTs highly collectible and sought after. They’re being touted as the future of the gaming industry, art collection, and real estate.
NFTs are creating a space where collectors can support artists directly, and the resale market for these assets is already booming. Recently, someone paid $390k for a 50-second video by Grimes. Another paid $6.6 million for a video by Beeple. And virtual kittens are being bought and traded for up to $170k. Yep.
Clubhouse Launches Monetization for Influencers
Clubhouse is basically a motivational LinkedIn post in audio form, but it’s working for a lot of people. They’re now launching a Creator Pilot Program (currently about 40 members) who will have the opportunity to monetize their influence on the platform through brand partnerships, sponsored rooms, paid club memberships, in-app product launches and more.
Established Industries are Innovating
Fast Food is Getting Faster
QSR (quick service restaurants) like Taco Bell, McDonalds, Chipotle and more are seeing major spikes in their online delivery and drive-through orders. To compensate, the companies are investing major $$$ into methods to increase efficiency, like eye tracking on digital billboards to predict drive-thru orders before they happen… Will our expectations for fast ever slow down?

Hair fragrance may sound like an extra, unnecessary step to add to a beauty routine — but research shows it may actually be better for your scalp than traditional perfume. Luxury brands such as Dior, Prada, and Chanel are leading market share for the new beauty must-have.
