LRXD’s Latest Friday Health Plans Ad Campaign Asks What Health Insurance Can Do for You
For our fourth annual campaign, we got to make some fun, relevant work this year with our clients at Friday Health Plans. We recently launched three spots as part of an integrated campaign across Colorado, Texas, Nevada and New Mexico.
Unlike a typical health insurance company, Friday asked their members what kind of benefits they would actually want. People said they wanted health insurance that kept them healthy without emptying their pockets, along with perks they’ll actually use. This led Friday to launch benefits like unlimited $0 mental health and primary care visits.
We created three TV commercials around the idea of listening to what people ask for. These humorous spots stay relevant to 2020 and “quarantine life.” One :30 second spot involves a family stuck in lockdown for what seems like forever to emphasize the importance of mental health, promoting Friday’s free mental health visits. To round out the campaign, we also created digital and OOH ads that point out the ironies of health insurance and its inability to provide basic benefits at affordable prices.
We’d like to thank producer Nicole Schofield, editor Charlie Brittz and the team over at Waypoint Films for bringing the work to life. And a big thanks goes out to our client, Friday Health Plans, for being so collaborative in making great advertising happen.
