When it’s left up to farmers, they drastically overwater and over-fertilize their fields — wasting precious H2O, tainting groundwater resources and flushing a lot of cash down the drain. We built the Grower Irrigation & Nutrient Optimizer to solve this issue. Based on a sophisticated equation, the system analyzes weather data, irrigation type and crop maturity to determine water demands. All of this data is collected in the fields, bounced off a satellite and fed back to the farmer through a mobile-friendly interface. Its effects are soon to be world-changing.
